Kubota GL11000TM – 11,000 Watt Lowboy II Series Industrial Diesel Generator w/ Output Terminals
The Kubota LOWBOY II Model GL11000 USA Series is designed to have the minimum possible height while using vertical diesel engines. This is achieved by direct coupling of the engine crankshaft with the cooling fan. Since they require less space for operation, the range of possible applications has been greatly increased. This genset has a very small foot print of 51 x 24.3 x 27.5 inches.
Add an automatic start module and this is ready for a commercial or residential back up or an off the grid primary power source. Units are not weather proof.
This model features a premium Kubota model D722, 3 cylinder, 18.9 HP, diesel fueled, liquid cooled engine with electric start. This model runs at 3600 RPM and generates 11 kW (11 kVA) 60 Hz,of Standby (emergency or maximum) power and 9.9 kW prime (continuous) power at a primary voltage of 120/240 VAC, single phase, 60 Hertz, with voltage accuracy.

Note regarding oil fill level at oil change: Here’s the update from Kubota Engines. The 722 generator on the GL11000 comes with either a 101mm or a 120mm deep oil pan. (4” or 4.75”). The 101 takes .9 gallons of oil. The 120 takes 1 gallon. If the unit has the 4.75” deep oil pan it requires 1 gallon to fill it to the top mark on the dipstick. The GL11000-USA uses dip stick part #1G304-36410.

For the first 2 years or 2000 hours you must use factory filters, or you will void warranty. The owner’s manual recommends you change oil and oil filter first 50 hours. After that change the oil every 100 hours and the oil filter every 200 hours. Suggestion: I like to use Mobil ® Delvac 1300 Super Diesel Motor oil for the engine oil and oil changes. Do not use automotive grade oil.
